Tamilnadu style tomato rasam | ತಮಿಳುನಾಡು ಶೈಲಿಯ ಟೊಮೇಟೊ ರಸಂ Ingredients Required Cumin seeds - 1 tsp Pepper - 1 tsp Garlic - 5 to 6 cloves Tomato - 1 to 2 Tamarind (soak it in water for 10 min) - 1/2 lemon sized Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp Red chilli - 2 Jaggery - 2 tsp Salt - As per the taste water - As much as required Method of Preparation Initially take a mixi jar and make a fine paste of cumin seeds, pepper, garlic and tomato. Now shift the paste to a bowl , add tamarind water, salt, jaggery and coriander leaves. In this stage based on the rasam quantity add water to it and mix well . Now take a pan, add oil to it, once oil is heated add mustard seeds and red chillis and fry it for one min and shift it to rasam bowl. Now keep a rasam in stove and boil it lightly.
