NeerDose | ನೀರುದೋಸೆ | Neerdosa

 Ingredients Required

  • Rice - 2 cup
  • Grated Coconut - 1 cup
  • Salt - As per the taste
  • Water - As much as required to get the right consistency
  • Coconut oil - As much as required

 Method of Preparation

  • Soak rice in water for atleast 2 hours.
  • Grind the soaked rice with salt and coconut initially without water.
  • Then add water little by little and grind it to fine paste.
  • Batter should be grinded to fine consistency such that when you touch it with your hands you should not get any particals in your hands.
  • Now add required water and get the flowing consistency of the batter. Batter consistency should be like milk.
  • Now pour the batter to hot  tawa and cook it from both the sides and add oil to it.
  • Now Hot and tasty Neer Dosa is ready.

ಬೇಕಾಗುವ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿಗಳು 

  • ಅಕ್ಕಿ - ೨ ಕಪ್ 
  • ತೆಂಗಿನಕಾಯಿ ತುರಿ - ೧ ಕಪ್ 
  • ಉಪ್ಪು - ರುಚಿಗೆತಕ್ಕಷ್ಟು 
  • ನೀರು - ಬೇಕಾದಷ್ಟು 
  • ತೆಂಗಿನ ಎಣ್ಣೆ - ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ 

ಮಾಡುವ ವಿಧಾನ 

  • ಮೊದಲಿಗೆ ಅಕ್ಕಿಯನ್ನು ೨ ರಿಂದ ೩ ಗಂಟೆಗಳ ಕಾಲ ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನೆನೆ ಹಾಕಬೇಕು. 
  • ನಂತರ ನೆನೆಸಿಟ್ಟ ಅಕ್ಕಿ,  ತೆಂಗಿನಕಾಯಿ ತುರಿ, ಉಪ್ಪು ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ನೀರು ಹಾಕಿ ರುಬ್ಬಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. 
  • ತದನಂತರ ನೀರು ಬೇಕು ಅಂದರೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪನೇ ಹಾಕಿ ನುಣ್ಣಗೆ ರುಬ್ಬಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ರುಬ್ಬಿದ ಮಿಶ್ರಣ ಹಾಲಿನ ತರ ಇದ್ದರೆ ಮಿಶ್ರಣ ರೆಡಿಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅರ್ಥ. 
  • ಈಗ ಮಿಶ್ರಣವನ್ನು ದೋಸಾ ತವಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಕಿ ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಎಣ್ಣೆ ಹಾಕಿ ,ಒಂದು ನಿಮಿಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ೨ ಬದಿ ದೋಸಾವನ್ನು ಕಾಯಿಸಿದರೆ ನೀರು ದೋಸಾ ರೆಡಿ ಆಗಿದೆ.

Kokum Rasam

Kokum Rasam Ingredients Required Kokum - 2 to 3 Jaggery - 2 tbsp Salt - as per the taste Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp whole red chillies - 3 to 4 oil - 1 tsp Water - 2 cups Curry Leaves - 4 to 5 Leaves Method of Preparation Soak kokum for 30 minutes as pre preparation. Take a pan, add oil and once oil is heated add mustard seeds and garlic. Wait until garlic changes its color to light brown and mustard splutters. Now add redchillies and curry leaves fry for 30 seconds. Now add kokum soaked water, add jaggery, salt and water then get them to boil. Once its boiled allow them to boil further till 7 to 8 min. Now Kokum rasam is ready. Note : Kokum rasam cane be served with hot rice or can also be drunk as a health drink.
