 Kadle Chutney Pudi | Shenga chutney pudi | ಕಡ್ಲೆ/ ಶೇಂಗಾ ಚಟ್ನಿ ಪುಡಿ  Ingredients Required Peanut - 1 Cup Channa Dal - 1/2 Cup Tamarind - Gooseberry sized Dry coconut - 2 Tbsp Red chilli (Byadagi) - 10 Curry leaves - 1/4 Cup Jaggery - 3 to 4 Tbsp Asafoetida / Hing - 1 Pinch Oil - 1 Tsp Method of Preparation Place a pan in gas, heat it, add ground nut and fry it until it changes it colors . Now allow it to cool down. To the same pan add channa dal and fry it in sim flame until it changes its color to light brown. Allow them to cool. To the same pan add 1 tsp of oil and add dried coconut and fry them for 2-3 minutes. Now add curry leaves and fry them until it becomes crisp and now add tamarind and fry them for a minute. Now shift it to a plate and allow them to cool down. To the same pan add 1 tsp oil and now add redchillies and fry them for 3 to 4 minutes. Ingredients Required Raagi flour - 1 Cup Wheat flour - 1/4 Cup Ghee - 1/4 Cup Sugar Powder - 1/3 Cup Salt - 2 Pinch Coco powder - 1 Tsp Butterscotch / Vanilla Essence - 1/2 Tsp (Optional) Milk - 2 Tsp (Optional) Method of Preparation Sieve raagi flour, wheat flour and sugar powder. To a bowl add sugar powder and ghee, beat it (whisk it) to a creamy texture. To this creamy texture add salt and coco powder, mix it well. This is a simple combination of tomato and rasam powder or sambhar powder with the nuttiness of sesame and groundnut. This can be pre prepared and stored in refrigerator for 2 to 3 days.
