Cashew Biscuit is a combination of cashews, wheat flour, sugar and ghee. Flavor of ghee combined with cashew and wheat enhances the taste. This can be a perfect tea time biscuit. Compared to market bought biscuits this is far healthier option for elders as well as kids. Sugar in this is adjustable, we can reduce the quantity of sugar, because of sweet nature of cashew. Ingredients Required

  • Cashew - 1 Cup
  • Sugar Powder - 1 Cup
  • Wheat flour - 2 Cup
  • Butterscotch essence - 1/4 tsp
  • Milk - 2 Tbsp (Optional, if required)

Method of prepration

  • Add Cashew to a mixer jar, grind it to fine powder.
  • To a bowl, add cashew powder, wheat flour,  Butterscotch essence and sugar powder mix it well until no lumps are found.
  • Now add Ghee and combine them well to form a dough, during this process if required add milk little by little to form a perfect dough.
  • To Bake in cooker, preheat cooker with a stand placed inside and remove gasket as well as whistle, Heat it in medium flame for 10 min.
  • To Bake in Oven, preheat oven for 10 min in 180 degree celsius.
  • Grease the plate to be placed in cooker with ghee and make small balls of the dough and place then in desired distance.
  • Grease the tray with ghee or line baking paper and make small balls of dough. All these balls should be placed in a certain distance to provide some space to get expanded in the size during baking.
  • Place cookies in cooker and simmer the flame, bake it for around 7 to 10 min.
  • Place the tray in oven and bake it for 10 to 12 minutes.
  • Once the cookies get small cracks upon them then they are ready to serve.
  • Once the cookies are ready, allow them to cool. While its hot it might be soft and difficult to handle, but once it cools down it will be more crispier.
  • Place this a jar and serve as a snack. This the best alternative for store bought cookies or biscuits.

ಬೇಕಾಗುವ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿಗಳು 

  • ಗೋಡಂಬಿ - ೧ ಕಪ್ 
  • ಸಕ್ಕರೆ ಪುಡಿ - ೧ ಕಪ್ 
  • ಗೋಧಿ ಹಿಟ್ಟು - ೨ ಕಪ್ 
  • ಬಟ್ಟೇರ್ಸ್ಕಾಚ್ ಎಸೆನ್ಸ್ - ೧/೪ ಟೀ ಚಮಚ 
  • ತುಪ್ಪ - ೩/೪ ಕಪ್ 
  • ಹಾಲು - ೨ ಟೇಬಲ್ ಚಮಚ (ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆ ಇದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರ )

ಮಾಡುವ ವಿಧಾನ 

  • ಮೊದಲಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಮಿಕ್ಸರ್ ಜಾರ್ ಗೆ ಗೋಡಂಬಿ ಹಾಕಿ ನುಣ್ಣಗೆ ಪುಡಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. 
  • ಒಂದು ಮಿಕ್ಸಿಂಗ್ ಬೌಲ್ ಗೆ ಗೋಡಂಬಿ ಪುಡಿ, ಗೋಧಿ ಹಿಟ್ಟು, ಸಕರೇ ಪುಡಿ ಹಾಗೆ ಬಟ್ಟೇರ್ಸ್ಕಾಚ್ ಎಸೆನ್ಸ್ ಹಾಕಿ ಗಂಟಿಲ್ಲದಂತೆ ಮಿಕ್ಸ್ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. 
  • ಈ ಮಿಶ್ರಣಕ್ಕೆ ತುಪ್ಪ ಹಾಕಿ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಬೆರೆಸಬೇಕು. ಇದನ್ನು ಚಪಾತಿ ಹಿಟ್ಟಿನ ಹದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಲಸಬೇಕು, ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇಕಾದರೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಹಾಲು ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದು. 
  • ಇನ್ನು ಒಂದು ಕುಕ್ಕೇರ್ ನ ಒಳಗೆ ಒಂದು ಸ್ಟಾಂಡ್ ಇಟ್ಟು ಅದರ ಗ್ಯಾಸ್ಕೆಟ್ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಸ್ಲೆ ತೆಗೆದು ಅದನ್ನು ಮಧ್ಯಮ ಉರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ೧೦ ನಿಮಿಷಗಳಷ್ಟು ಕಾಲ ಪ್ರಿ ಹೀಟ್ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಹಾಗೆ ಓವೆನ್ ಕೂಡ ೧೮೦ ಡಿಗ್ರಿ ಸೆಲ್ಷಿಯಸ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ೧೦ ನಿಮಿಷ ಪ್ರಿ ಹೀಟ್ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. 
  • ಒಂದು ಪ್ಲೇಟ್ ಹಾಗೆ ಬೇಕಿಂಗ್ ಟ್ರಯ್ ಗೆ ತುಪ್ಪ ಸವರಿ ಹಿಟ್ಟಿನ ಸಣ್ಣ ಸಣ್ಣ ಉಂಡೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಅಂತರದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಜೋಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತಾ ಹೋಗಬೇಕು. 
  • ಪ್ರಿ ಹೀಟ್ ಆದ ಕುಕ್ಕರ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ಲೇಟ್ ಇತ್ತು ಉರಿಯನ್ನು ಚಿಕ್ಕದಾಗಿಸಿ ೭ ರಿಂದ ೧೦ ನಿಮಿಷ ಬೇಕ್ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.
  • ಪ್ರಿ ಹೀಟ್ ಆದ ಓವೆನ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ೧೦ ರಿಂದ ೧೨ ನಿಮಿಷ ಗಳ ಕಾಲ  ಬೇಕ್ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.
  • ಕುಕೀಸ್ ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಣ್ಣಕೆ ಕ್ರ್ಯಾಕ್ ಬಂದರೆ ಕುಕೀಸ್ ತಯಾರಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದು ತಣಿದರೆ ತಿನ್ನಲು ತಯಾರಾಗುತದೆ.

Kokum Rasam

Kokum Rasam Ingredients Required Kokum - 2 to 3 Jaggery - 2 tbsp Salt - as per the taste Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp whole red chillies - 3 to 4 oil - 1 tsp Water - 2 cups Curry Leaves - 4 to 5 Leaves Method of Preparation Soak kokum for 30 minutes as pre preparation. Take a pan, add oil and once oil is heated add mustard seeds and garlic. Wait until garlic changes its color to light brown and mustard splutters. Now add redchillies and curry leaves fry for 30 seconds. Now add kokum soaked water, add jaggery, salt and water then get them to boil. Once its boiled allow them to boil further till 7 to 8 min. Now Kokum rasam is ready. Note : Kokum rasam cane be served with hot rice or can also be drunk as a health drink.
