  Pumpkin sambar / ಸಿಹಿ ಕುಂಬಳಕಾಯಿ ಸಾಂಬಾರ್ / ಚೀನಿಕಾಯಿ ಸಾಂಬಾರ್ / Easy combo meal Pumpkin sambar is very easy to prepare and very tasty too. without cooker you can prepare this recipe. you can have this with rice, dosa or chapathi. It is a combination of  pumpkin, coconut and some spieces. try this recipe at home.  Ingredients Required : Pumpkin - 1 small sized Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp Salt - as per the taste Oil - 1 tsp Red chili - 2 Urad dal - 1 tsp Bengal gram - 1/2 tsp Fenugreek seeds - 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp Coriander seeds - 2 tsp Tamarind - as per the taste or small half lemon sized Grated coconut - 5 tbsp Jaggery - half small lemon sized  Coriander leaves - 3 to 4 tsp Water - as per the requirement  Method of Preparation : Initially cut the pumpkin into small pieces. Cook it for 5 minutes. Meanwhile for masala paste, take a pan add oi to it. Once oil is heated add red chili, urad dal and channa dal. Fry for 30 seconds. Chattambade । Masala Vada ।ಚಟ್ಟಂಬಡೆ । ಕಡ್ಲೆಬೇಳೆ ವಡೆ । Channa dal vada  Chattambade is a very famous snack dish of south Karnataka. This is a very favorite dish to almost all mangalorians. It is very easy to prepare, the only thing is you have to soak the Bengal gram 3 to 4 hours before. From 3 to 60 aged people will like this recipe. you can have this recipe with rasam or sambar also. very very tasty dish. it is a mixture of Bengal gram, onion, chili, and coriander leaves. try this recipe at home.   Banana Flower Chutney | ಬಾಳೆಹೂವಿನ ಚಟ್ನಿ । ಪೂಂಬೆ ಚಟ್ನಿ  Ingredients Required Banana Flower - 1 Tamarind Water - 4 tsp Jaggery - 4 tbsp salt - As per the taste Grated Coconut - 2 Tsp Bengal gram - 2 tsp Redchillies - 4 to 5 Oil - 4 Tsp Curry Leaves - 1 tsp Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp Water - As per the requirement Method of preparation Remove the outer cover of banana flower until the surface color is white. Now cut them to small pieces. To a pan add water, now switch on the flame, add chopped banana flower, add tamarind water. Now allow it to cook for atleast 15 to 20 minutes. After 20 minutes switch off the flame, allow it to cool down. In another pan, add oil, add bengal gram and redchillies, fry them until bengal gram changes its color. Now to a mixer jar add cooked banana flower, roasted mixture,grated coconut, salt and jaggery Grind them to fine paste by adding water as needed.
