Every time in every household availability of yeast is quite difficult. But in this recipe just by using baking soda, baking powder and curd we have achieved the same thing. As per my family opinion this tastes even better than the market bought one. May be because, in home we prepare with atmost love and care. We prepare it based on our taste buds. In the udupi it is also called as mudduli recipe.Mangalore and udupi people will do this recipe in almost all the functions for lunch. This menaskayi taste should be a mixture of sweet and sour.
