 Bread Roll | ಬ್ರೆಡ್ ರೋಲ್ 


Bread Roll is a easy 5 minutes snack recipe. if you have boiled potatoes then the recipe takes just 5 minutes to prepare. This can be a tiffin box recipe for kids. For fuzzy eaters you can even hide vegetables with potatoes. Do try the recipe and comment your opinion in comment tab.


Ingredients Required

  • Boiled Potatoes - 2
  • Finely chopped onion - 1
  • Finely chopped Green chillies - 2
  • Finely chopped Coriander leaves - 3 Tbsp
  • Chat masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Garam Masala - 1 Tsp
  • Salt - As per the taste
  • Bread slices - 4 to 8
  • Oil - for deep frying
  • Water - 1/2 Cup

Method of Preparation

  • Cut the brown edges of bread slices. Keep them aside.
  • To prepare filling, Add boiled potatoes to a bowl, mash them nicely.
  • Now add chopped onion, green chillies, chat masala, garam masala, chopped coriander leaves and salt.
  • Mix them well until all the flavors are combined well with potatoes.
  • Heat the oil in medium to low heat, do not over heat.
  • Now to prepare roll, To  a plate add some water, dip bread slice and squeeze the excess water.
  • Now add filling to it. after adding filling seal it neatly so that there are no cracks formed.
  • Prepare all bread rolls in the same way.
  • Add prepared roll to medium hot oil and fry them until they turn to light brown.
  • Delicious bread roll is ready to serve. serve it with ketchup or green chutney.

Tips

  • Use white bread only. Hence maida is high in gluten it is easy to get the desired shape.
  • Do not use excess water to dip the bread. It make scatter the bread, and you may not be able to get the desired shape of roll.
  • Oil for deep frying should not be too hot.
  • Instead of green chillies you can also use redchilli powder. But in that case heat a little oil and add 1 tsp of red chilli powder to it then pour it to the stuffing. this way it will enhance the taste.



ಬೇಕಾಗುವ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿಗಳು 

  • ಬೇಯಿಸಿದ ಆಲೂಗಡ್ಡೆ - ೨
  • ಸಣ್ಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹಚ್ಚಿದ ಈರುಳ್ಳಿ - ೧
  • ಸಣ್ಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹಚ್ಚಿದ ಹಸಿಮೆಣಸು - ೨
  • ಸಣ್ಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹಚ್ಚಿದ ಕೊತ್ತಂಬರಿ ಸೊಪ್ಪು - ೩ ಟೇಬಲ್  ಚಮಚ 
  • ಚಾಟ್ ಮಸಾಲಾ - ೧/೨ ಟೀ ಚಮಚ 
  • ಗರಂ ಮಸಾಲಾ -  ೧ ಟೀ ಚಮಚ 
  • ಉಪ್ಪು - ರುಚಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕಷ್ಟು 
  • ಬ್ರೆಡ್ - ೪ ರಿಂದ ೮
  • ಎಣ್ಣೆ - ಕರಿಯಲು 
  • ನೀರು - ೧/೨ ಕಪ್ 

ಮಾಡುವ ವಿಧಾನ 

  • ಮೊದಲಿಗೆ ಬ್ರೆಡ್ ನ ಅಂಚನ್ನು ತುಂಡು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಇನ್ನು ಹೂರಣ(ಸ್ಟಿಫಿನ್ಗ್ ) ತುಂಬಬೇಕಾದನ್ನ ತಯಾರಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. 
  • ಹೂರಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮೊದಲಿಗೆ ಬೇಯಿಸಿದ ಆಲೂಗಡ್ಡೆಯನ್ನು ಪುಡಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಣ್ಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹಚ್ಚಿದ ಈರುಳ್ಳಿ, ಕೊತ್ತಂಬರಿ ಸೊಪ್ಪು, ಹಸಿಮೆಣಸು, ಉಪ್ಪು, ಚಾಟ್ ಮಸಾಲಾ, ಗರಂ ಮಸಾಲಾಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಬೆರೆಸಬೇಕು. 
  • ಇನ್ನು ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಉರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಣ್ಣೆ ಕಾಯಲು ಇಡಬೇಕು. 
  • ಒಂದು ಬಟ್ಟಲಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ನೀರು ಹಾಕಿ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಬ್ರೆಡ್ ನ್ನು ಅದ್ದಿ , ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ನೀರನ್ನು ನಿಧಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂಡಿ  ತೆಗೆಯಬೇಕು. 
  • ಇನ್ನು ಈ ಬ್ರೆಡ್ ಗೆ ಹೂರಣ ತುಂಬಿ ತೂತಿಲ್ಲದಂತೆ ರೋಲ್ ಆಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಚ್ಚಬೇಕು. 
  • ಇದನ್ನು ಹದವಾಗಿ ಕಾದ ಎಣ್ಣೆಗೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಕಂದುಬಣ್ಣ ಬರುವ ವರೆಗೆ ಕಾಯಿಸಿದರೆ ಬ್ರೆಡ್ ರೋಲ್ ತಯಾರಾಗುತದೆ. 
  • ಬ್ರೆಡ್ ರೋಲ್ ಹಸಿರು ಚಟ್ನಿ ಇಲ್ಲವೇ ಕೆಚಪ್ ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸವಿಯಲು ಸಿದ್ದ.

Kokum Rasam

Kokum Rasam Ingredients Required Kokum - 2 to 3 Jaggery - 2 tbsp Salt - as per the taste Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp whole red chillies - 3 to 4 oil - 1 tsp Water - 2 cups Curry Leaves - 4 to 5 Leaves Method of Preparation Soak kokum for 30 minutes as pre preparation. Take a pan, add oil and once oil is heated add mustard seeds and garlic. Wait until garlic changes its color to light brown and mustard splutters. Now add redchillies and curry leaves fry for 30 seconds. Now add kokum soaked water, add jaggery, salt and water then get them to boil. Once its boiled allow them to boil further till 7 to 8 min. Now Kokum rasam is ready. Note : Kokum rasam cane be served with hot rice or can also be drunk as a health drink.
