Green Gram dosa can also be called as protein dosa. It is high in protein and perfect to use during weight loss process. Ginger and green chillies helps to enhance the taste and also reduces the acidic or gastric nature of gram. So definitely try and comment below your opinion.

Ingredients Required

  • Green Gram ( Sprouted or Soaked) - 1 Cup
  • Wheat Flour - 1 Cup
  • Gram Flour - 2 Tbsp
  • Salt - 3/4 Tsp
  • Ginger - 2 inch
  • Green chillies - 3
  • Water - As per the requirement

Method of preparation

  • In a mixer jar, add sprouted green gram, greenchillies and ginger. Initially grind it without water. After course grinding add little water as per the requirement and grind it to fine paste.
  • Pour the paste to a bowl. Add gram flour (Besan) to the same mixer jar, then add salt as per the taste. Grind it with water to get fine paste.
  • Add paste to the same bowl. Now add wheat flour to mixer jar add sufficient water and blend it to a lump free batter.
  • Add Batter to same bowl. Mix it well. Get the perfect consistency. If required a little water can be added during mixing.
  • Allow to rest the batter for atleast 20-30 minutes.
  • After 30 minutes, heat tawa, pour batter and turn it to dosa shape.
  • Add oil or ghee upon that, close the lid, cook for 1 to 2 minutes. After 2 minutes flip dosa and allow other side to cook for 30 seconds.
  • Now Healthy yet delicious dosa is ready to serve.
  • Serve it with chutney.

Tips :

  • Dosa becomes more tastier if resting time is more than 1 hour. Because batter will rise more.
  • If sprouted green gram is not available then soak green gram for atleast 6 hours. It makes the work similar.
  • Sprouted moong dal or green gram would digest easiely compared to soaked one.

ಬೇಕಾಗುವ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿಗಳು 

  • ಹೆಸರು ಕಾಳು (ಮೊಳಕೆಬರಿಸಿದ್ದು ಅಥವಾ ನೆನೆಸಿರುವಂಥದ್ದು ) - ೧ ಕಪ್ 
  • ಗೋಧಿ ಹಿಟ್ಟು - ೧ ಕಪ್ 
  • ಕಡ್ಲೆ ಹಿಟ್ಟು - ೨ ಟೇಬಲ್ ಚಮಚ 
  • ಉಪ್ಪು - ೩/೪ ಟೀ ಚಮಚ 
  • ಶುಂಠಿ - ೨ ಇಂಚು 
  • ಹಸಿ ಮೆಣಸು - ೩
  • ನೀರು - ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆಗೆ ಅನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ 

ಮಾಡುವ ವಿಧಾನ 

  • ಮೊದಲಿಗೆ ಮೊಳಕೆ ಬರಿಸಿದ ಹೆಸರು ಕಾಳನ್ನು ಮಿಕ್ಸಿ ಜಾರ್ ಗೆ ಹಾಕಬೇಕು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಹಸಿಮೆಣಸು, ಶುಂಠಿ ಹಾಕಿ ನೀರು ಹಾಕದೇ ರುಬ್ಬಬೇಕು. 
  • ನಂತರ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ನೀರು ಹಾಕಿ ನುಣ್ಣಗೆ ರುಬ್ಬಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಈ ಮಿಶ್ರಣವನ್ನು ಒಂದು ಪಾತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಕಬೇಕು. 
  • ಇನ್ನು ಅದೇ ಮಿಕ್ಸಿ ಜಾರ್ ಗೆ ಕಡಲೆ ಹಿಟ್ಟು , ಉಪ್ಪು ಹಾಗೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ನೀರು ಹಾಕಿ , ನುಣ್ಣಗೆ ರುಬ್ಬಿಕೊಳ್ಳ ಬೇಕು. 
  • ಈ ಮಿಶ್ರಣವನ್ನು ಅದೇ ಪಾತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಕಬೇಕು. ಮತ್ತೆ ಮಿಕ್ಸಿ ಜಾರ್ ಗೆ ಗೋಧಿ ಹಿಟ್ಟು ಹಾಕಿ ಬೇಕಾದಷ್ಟು ನೀರು ಹಾಕಿ ಗಂಟಿಲ್ಲದಂತೆ ರುಬ್ಬ ಬೇಕು. 
  • ಇದನ್ನು ಅದೇ ಪಾತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಕಿಬೇಕು. ಇನ್ನು ಮಿಶ್ರಣವನ್ನು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಿಕ್ಸ್ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಈ ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇಕಾದರೆ ನೀರನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದು. 
  • ಇನ್ನು ಇದನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ೨೦ ರಿಂದ ೩೦ ನಿಮಿಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ನೆನೆಯಲು ಬಿಡಬೇಕು. ನಂತರ ಕಾವಲಿ ಬಿಸಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿ ದೋಸೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳ ಬೇಕು. ಇದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಎಣ್ಣೆ ಇಲ್ಲವಾದರೆ ತುಪ್ಪ ಹಾಕಿ ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ೧ ರಿಂದ ೨ ನಿಮಿಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಬೇಯಿಸಬೇಕು. ನಂತರ ದೋಸೆಯನ್ನು ಮಗುಚಿ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಬದಿ ಕೂಡ ೩೦ ಸೆಕೆಂಡುಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಕಾಯಿಸಬೇಕು.  
  • ಈಗ ರುಚಿಕರವಾದ ಹಾಗೆ ಆರೋಗ್ಯಕರವಾದ ದೋಸೆ ತಯಾರಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
