Rice Cutlet / ಅನ್ನದ ಕಟ್ಲೇಟ್
Left over rice is a big headache. If you dont like to have rice then it would get wasted. But its not suggestable to have rice next day. Bacteria's get developed, and it would trouble your apetite and may get some stomach infection.
This rice cutlet is the best way to reuse left over rice and prepare a delicious evening snack. Do try it and share your opinion.
Ingredients Required
- Cooked Rice - 2 cups
- Boiled Potato - 1 big sized
- Finely chopped Onion - 1
- Finely chopped Tomato - 1
- Redchilli powder - 1 tsp
- chat masala - 1/2 tsp
- Garam Masala - 1 Tbsp
- Salt - As per the taste
- Gram flour / Besan - 3 Tbsp
- Ghee - 4 Tbsp
- Ginger - Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
Method of Preparation
- In a bowl take rice, add boiled potato, chopped onion and tomato, add redchilli powder, chat masala, salt, garammasala, ginger garlic paste and Gram flour/ Besan.
- Mix them well. squeeze and mix it well until all mixture comes together.
- Now take a ball sized dough and form cutlet size.
- Place tawa on gas, Heat it, pour ghee and place cutlet on them. Cook them from all the sides.
- Once cutlets are cooked from all the directions, serve it with chutney or ketchup.
