Chakkuli । ಚಕ್ಕುಲಿ । Lord ganesha's favorite chakkuli 


Ganesha Chaturthi is a festival celebrated in most of the households. Chakkuli is one of the favourite recipe of lord Ganesha. Do try it and make ganesha happy on the occasion of Ganesha chaturthi

Ingredients required :

  • Urad Dal / Split Black Gram  – ½ cup 
  • Roasted Bengal Gram  – ¼ Cup
  • Rice Flour – 1 cup
  • Salt  – As per the taste
  • Red Chilli Powder  – 1 tsp
  • Oil for mixing – ¼ cup
  • Oil For frying  – As per the requirement
  • Water – As per the requirement 

Method of Preparation : 

  • Initially take a pan, once the pan is heated add urad dal and fry it for a minute or till you get the aroma.
  • Next, shift it a bowl. Now add Bengal gram to it and fry for 2 minutes. shift it to the same bowl. leave them to cool down.
  • In the same pan fry rice flour until rice flour becomes hot.
  • Now take a mixer jar to add fried urad dal and Bengal gram. grind them to a fine powder.
  • Take one bowl to add Bengal gram and urad dal powder, rice flour, red chili powder, salt, and hot oil. 
  • Mix them well using water to prepare a dough. 
  • Keep the oil for deep frying.
  • Now take a chakkuli maker, apply oil to it.
  • Once the oil is heated fill the dough to chakkuli maker and leave to oil.
  • Fry the chakkuli until it turns brown color or until it becomes crispy.
  • Now your chakkuli is ready to serve. 

ಬೇಕಾಗುವ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿಗಳು :

  • ಉದ್ದಿನ ಬೇಳೆ - ೧/೨ ಕಪ್ 
  • ಪುಟಾಣಿ ಕಾಳು - ೧/೪ ಕಪ್ 
  • ಅಕ್ಕಿ ಹಿಟ್ಟು - ೧ ಕಪ್ 
  • ಉಪ್ಪು - ರುಚಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕಷ್ಟು 
  • ಖಾರದ ಪುಡಿ - ೧ ಟೀ ಚಮಚ 
  • ಮಿಕ್ಸ್ ಮಾಡಲು ಬೇಕಾಗುವ ಎಣ್ಣೆ - ೧/೪ ಕಪ್ 
  • ಕರಿಯಲು ಎಣ್ಣೆ - ಬೇಕಾದಷ್ಟು 
  • ನೀರು - ಬೇಕಾದಷ್ಟು 

ಮಾಡುವ ವಿಧಾನ :

  • ಮೊದಲಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಪಾನ್ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅದು ಬಿಸಿ ಆದನಂತರ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಉದ್ದಿನಬೇಳೆ ಹಾಕಿ ಒಂದು ನಿಮಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಹುರಿದು ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳಿ. 
  • ಈಗ ಅದೇ ಪಾನ್ ಗೆ ಪುಟಾಣಿ ಹಾಕಿ ೨ ನಿಮಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಹುರಿದು ಕೊಳ್ಳಿ . ಅದನ್ನು ಬೇರೆ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗೆ ಶಿಫ್ಟ್ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿ. 
  • ಮತ್ತೆ ಅದೇ ಪ್ಯಾನ್ಗೆ ಅಕ್ಕಿ ಹುಡಿ ಹಾಕಿ ಅದು ಬಿಸಿ ಆಗುವ ತನಕ ಹುರಿದುಕೊಂಡರೆ ಸಾಕು. 
  • ಈಗ ಮಿಕ್ಸಿ ಜಾರ್ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಹುರಿದ ಉದ್ದಿನಬೇಳೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪುಟಾಣಿ ಹಾಕಿ ಪುಡಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. 
  • ಈಗ ಅದೇ ಪುಡಿಗೆ ಅಕ್ಕಿಹುಡಿ, ಉಪ್ಪು, ಮೆಣಸಿನ ಪುಡಿ ಮತ್ತು ಬಿಸಿ ಎಣ್ಣೆ ಹಾಕಿ ಮಿಕ್ಸ್ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. 
  • ಈಗ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪನೇ ನೀರು ಹಾಕಿ ಹಿಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಕಲಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಕಲಸಿದ ನಂತರ ಅದನ್ನು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ನಾದ ಬೇಕು. ಈಗ ಹಿಟ್ಟು ತಯಾರಾಗಿದೆ.  
  • ಕರಿಯಲು ಎಣ್ಣೆಯನ್ನು ಇಡಿ. 
  • ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಚಕ್ಕುಲಿ ಒರಲೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಎಣ್ಣೆ ಸವರಿ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳಿ. 
  • ಎಣ್ಣೆ ಕಾದ ನಂತರ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಚಕ್ಕುಲಿ ಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ೨ ಬದಿ ಕಾಯಿಸಿದರೆ ಅಥವಾ ಕಂದು  ಬಣ್ಣ ಬರುವ ತನಕ ಕಾಯಿಸಿದರೆ. ಚಕ್ಕುಲಿ ತಯಾರಾಗಿದೆ.
