Do you like oily food ? here it is very easy recipe khara sev. It is a famous south Indian snack. Very easy to prepare, very less time required to prepare, not only time very less ingredients required to prepare. Its very good to have with tea or coffee. are you beginner to prepare cooking ? then definitely you can try this recipe and you will be  

Ingredients Required :

  • Gram flour - 1 cup
  • Rice flour - 1/4 cup
  • Red chili powder - 1 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Oil - for deep fry and 2 tsp for mixing
  • Salt - As per the taste
  • Water - As per the requirement

Method of Preparation :

  • Initially take a bowl add gram flour, rice flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, 2 tsp of oil, salt and mix them well.
  • Now add water as per the requirement to prepare the dough. 
  • The dough should be a medium texture (like chapati dough).
  • Now make a ready of murkku press. for murkku press select a disc, it should be a khara sev shape (see the picture for shape).
  • Meanwhile keep a oil in pan for deep fry.
  • Now put dough inside the murkku press, once oil is heated  press directly to oil in circle shape.
  • Once it turns to golden brown, your khara sev or gram sev is ready to serve.

ಬೇಕಾಗುವ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿಗಳು :

  • ಕಡ್ಲೆ ಹುಡಿ - ೧ಕಪ್ 
  • ಅಕ್ಕಿ ಹುಡಿ - ೧/೪ ಕಪ್ 
  • ಮೆಣಸಿನ ಪುಡಿ - ೧ ಟೇಬಲ್ ಚಮಚ 
  • ಜೀರಿಗೆ - ೧ ಟೇಬಲ್ ಚಮಚ 
  • ಅರಶಿನ ಪುಡಿ - ೧/೪ ಟೀ ಚಮಚ 
  • ಎಣ್ಣೆ - ಕರಿಯಲು ಮತ್ತು ಹಿಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ೨ ಟೀ ಚಮಚ 
  • ಉಪ್ಪು - ರುಚಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕಷ್ಟು 
  • ನೀರು - ಬೇಕಾದಷ್ಟು 

ಮಾಡುವ ವಿಧಾನ :

  • ಮೊದಲಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಪಾತ್ರೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಡ್ಲೆ ಹುಡಿ, ಅಕ್ಕಿ ಹುಡಿ, ಮೆಣಸಿನ ಪುಡಿ, ಜೀರಿಗೆ, ಅರಶಿನ ಪುಡಿ, ಎಣ್ಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಉಪ್ಪು ಹಾಕಿ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಿಕ್ಸ್ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿ. 
  • ತದನಂತರ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪನೇ ನೀರು ಹಾಕಿ ಚಪಾತಿ ಹದದ ಹಿಟ್ಟು ತಯಾರಿಸಿ. 
  • ಈಗ ಖಾರ ಕಡ್ಡಿ ಒತ್ತಲು , ಚಕ್ಕಲಿ ಒತ್ತುವುದನ್ನು  ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಖಾರ ಕಡ್ಡಿ ಒತ್ತುವ ಡಿಸ್ಕ್ ಹಾಕಿ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಎಣ್ಣೆ ಸವರಿ ರೆಡಿ ,ಮಾಡಿ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳಿ. 
  • ಈಗ ಒಂದು ಪಾನ್ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕರಿಯಲು ಎಣ್ಣೆ ತೆಗೆದು ಕೊಂಡು ಗ್ಯಾಸ್ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಡಿ. 
  • ನಂತರ ತಯಾರಾದ ಹಿಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಚಕ್ಕಲಿ ಒತ್ತುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಕಿ ತಯಾರಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿ. 
  • ಎಣ್ಣೆ ಕಾದ ಕೂಡಲೇ ಡೈರೆಕ್ಟ್ ಆಗಿ ಎಣ್ಣೆಗೆ ಖಾರ ಕಡ್ಡಿ ಒತ್ತಬೇಕು. ಅದು ಕಂದು ಬಣ್ಣಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗಿದರೆ ಖಾರ ಕಡ್ಡಿ ತಯಾರಾಗಿದೆ.
