Avalakki Mixture । Flattened Rice Mixture ।ಅವಲಕ್ಕಿ ಮಿಕ್ಸ್ಚರ್


Avalakki mixture is very easiest recipe. This Mixture can be stored for longer time in an air tight Container. So it can be taken for trips or hostels. It cane be the best muncher during trips and travels. If its homemade it would be healtheir than other outside snack. It is a Maharashtra or north Karnataka  snack recipe. It is very good snack to have with coffee or Tea. If you prepare some rice item or poha recipe or upma recipe you can have this avalakki mixture with it. It will be very tasty.  The ingredients in this recipe are very healthy and simple as well. Try out the recipe. 

Ingredients required :

  • Avalakki / Poha / Flattened Rice - 1 Cup
  • Red chilli Powder - 1.5 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Salt - 1 tsp (As per the taste )
  • Sugar - 2 tsp
  • Cashew - 1 tsp
  • Garlic - 3 to 4 cloves 
  • Peanut - 1/2 cup
  • Curry leaves - 2 tbsp
  • Oil - 2 tsp + deep frying 

Method of Preparation : 

  • Initially take a pan add oil to it for deep frying. 
  • Once oil is hot add peanuts and fry it, once fried remove and shift it to plate.
  • Do the same procedure for cashew, curry leaves, garlic cloves and avalakki, separately and shift it to same plate.
  • Now allow them to cool completely. It may take 15 to 20 minutes.
  • After that take another pan add 2 tsp oil, once it is heated, add turmeric, red chilli powder, sugar and salt, mix it well and switch off the flame.
  • Now add cooled down mixture to the same pan and mix well, so that all masala mix well.
  • Now allow them to cool completely. Your Avalakki mixture is ready.
  • You can store with air tight container.

ಬೇಕಾಗುವ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿಗಳು :

  • ಅವಲಕ್ಕಿ - ೧ ಕಪ್ 
  • ಕೆಂಪುಮೆಣಸಿನ ಪುಡಿ - ೧. ೫ ಟೀ ಚಮಚ 
  • ಅರಶಿನ ಪುಡಿ - ೧ ಟೀ ಚಮಚ 
  • ಉಪ್ಪು - ೧ ಟೀ ಚಮಚ (ರುಚಿಗೆ ಬೇಕಾಷ್ಟು )
  • ಸಕ್ಕರೆ - ೨ ಟೀ ಚಮಚ 
  • ಗೋಡಂಬಿ - ೧ ಟೀ ಚಮಚ 
  • ಬೆಳ್ಳುಳ್ಳಿ -  ೩ ರಿಂದ ೪ ಎಸಳು 
  • ಕಡ್ಲೆಬೀಜ - ೧/೨ ಕಪ್ 
  • ಕರಿಬೇವಿನ ಸೊಪ್ಪು - ೨ ಟೀ ಚಮಚ 
  • ಎಣ್ಣೆ - ೨ ಟೀ ಚಮಚ + ಕರಿಯಲು 

ಮಾಡುವ ವಿಧಾನ :

  • ಮೊದಲಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಬಾಣಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕರಿಯಲು ಎಣ್ಣೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. 
  • ಎಣ್ಣೆ ಬಿಸಿ ಆದನಂತರ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಡ್ಲೆಬೀಜ ಹಾಕಿ ಹುರಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಅದು ಫ್ರೈ ಆದನಂತರ ಅದನ್ನು ಎಣ್ಣೆಯಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದು ಬೇರೆ ಪಾತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಕಬೇಕು. 
  • ಅದೇ ತರ ಗೋಡಂಬಿ, ಬೆಳ್ಳುಳ್ಳಿ, ಕರಿಬೇವಿನ ಸೊಪ್ಪು ಮತ್ತು ಅವಲಕ್ಕಿಯನ್ನು ಬೇರೆ ಬೇರೆ ಯಾಗಿ ಕರಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಅದೇ ಪಾತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಶಿಫ್ಟ್ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. 
  • ನಂತರ ಅದನ್ನು ಬಿಸಿ ಆರಲು ಬಿಡಬೇಕು. 
  • ಈಗ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಪಾತ್ರೆ ತೆಗೆದ್ಕೊಂಡು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ೨ ಟೀ ಚಮಚ ಎಣ್ಣೆ ಹಾಕಿ, ಎಣ್ಣೆ ಬಿಸಿ ಆದ ನಂತರ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅರಶಿನ ಪುಡಿ, ಕೆಂಪುಮೆಣಸಿನ ಪುಡಿ, ಉಪ್ಪು, ಸಕ್ಕರೆ ಹಾಕಿ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಿಕ್ಸ್ ಮಾಡಿ ಗ್ಯಾಸ್ ಆರಿಸಬೇಕು. 
  • ಈಗ ಬಿಸಿ ಆರಲು ಬಿಟ್ಟ ಮಿಶ್ರಣವನ್ನು ಮಸಾಲಾ ಮಡಿದ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗೆ ಹಾಕಿ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಿಕ್ಸ್ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅವಲಕ್ಕಿ ಮಿಕ್ಸ್ಚರ್ ತಯಾರಾಗಿದೆ.

Bisibelebath Powder | ಬಿಸಿಬೇಳೆ ಬಾತ್ ಪೌಡರ್  Bisibele bath powder is a blend of few dals and aroma spices. This is used in famous dish called bisibelebath , which is a famous south indian dish.
