Pan Cake | ಪ್ಯಾನ್  ಕೇಕ್ । ತವಾ  ಕೇಕ್ 


Pan Cake is a delicious, mouth watering recipe, which is most favourite among kids. Original version of pan cakes use eggs and maida. Being a Vegetarian Banana is the best replacer for egg. To make it healthier Wheat flour is added instead of Maida. Baking Powder helps to rise the flour, as a food for baking powder milk is added. Milk Even enhances the taste.

This Recipe can be served as breakfast or snack for kids . Elderly people who has the craving for sweets can prepare this recipe without adding sugar. Yet it tastes delicious due to natural sweetness of Banana.

Ingredients required :

  • Riped Banana - 1 (big)
  • Sugar - 3 tsp
  • Milk - As per the requirement 
  • Wheat flour - 1/2 cup
  • Salt - 1/8 tsp
  • Baking soda - 1/4 tsp
  • Butter - 3 tsp
  • Honey or Maple syrup - 1 to 2 tsp

Method of Preparation :

  • Initially take a mixi jar add banana, sugar and milk, grind them to fine paste .
  • Now shift the banana Paste to a bowl, add wheat flour, salt and baking powder, mix them well.
  • Add milk to batter to get the right consistency.
  • Consistency should not be thin, it should be thick pouring consistency.
  • Now take a pan , heat the pan.
  • Once pan is heated add butter to it , later pour batter on it. Close the lid.
  • Bubbles upon the cake indicates that, its time to flip.
  • once one side is cooked flip it to another side and cook it. 
  • Now pan cake is ready. Serve the cake with honey or Maple syrup. 

ಬೇಕಾಗುವ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿಗಳು :

  • ಸಿಪ್ಪೆ ತೆಗೆದ ಬಾಳೆಹಣ್ಣು - ೧ (ದೊಡ್ಡದು)
  • ಸಕ್ಕರೆ - ೩ ಟೀ ಚಮಚ 
  • ಹಾಲು - ಬೇಕಾದಷ್ಟು 
  • ಗೋಧಿಹಿಟ್ಟು - ೧/೨ ಕಪ್ 
  • ಉಪ್ಪು - ೧/೮ ಟೀ ಚಮಚ 
  • ಬೇಕಿಂಗ್ ಪೌಡರ್ - ೧/೪ ಟೀ ಚಮಚ 
  • ಬೆಣ್ಣೆ - ೩ ಟೀ ಚಮಚ 
  • ಜೇನು ತುಪ್ಪ ಅಥವಾ  ಮಾಲ್ಪೆ ಸಿರಪ್ - ೧ ರಿಂದ ೨ ಟೀ ಚಮಚ 

ಮಾಡುವ ವಿಧಾನ :

  • ಮೊದಲಿಗೆ ಮಿಕ್ಸಿ ಜಾರ್ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿಪ್ಪೆ ತೆಗೆದ ಬಾಳೆಹಣ್ಣು, ಸಕ್ಕರೆ, ೩ ಟೀ ಚಮಚ ಹಾಲು ಹಾಕಿ ಮಿಕ್ಸಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. 
  • ಈಗ ಬಾಳೆಹಣ್ಣಿನ ಮಿಶ್ರಣವನ್ನು ಒಂದು ಪಾತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಕಿ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಗೋಧಿಹಿಟ್ಟು, ಉಪ್ಪು, ಬೇಕಿಂಗ್ ಪೌಡರ್ ಹಾಕಿ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಿಕ್ಸ್ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. 
  • ಹದವಾದ ಮಿಶ್ರಣಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಹಾಲನ್ನು ಬೆರೆಸಬೇಕು. 
  • ಮಿಶ್ರಣವು ತೆಳುವಾಗಿ ಇರಬಾರದು ದಪ್ಪವಾದ ಹೊಯುವ ಹದ ಇರಬೇಕು. 
  • ಒಂದು ತವ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅದನ್ನು ಬಿಸಿಗೆ ಇಡಿ. 
  • ತವ ಬಿಸಿಯಾದ ನಂತರ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆಣ್ಣೆ ಹಾಕಿ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಹರಡಿಸಿ ನಂತರ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮಿಶ್ರಣವನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿ , ಮುಚ್ಚಳವನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿ. 
  • ಕೇಕ್ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಬ್ಬಲ್ಸ್ ಬಂದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಉಲ್ಟಾ ಮಾಡಿ ಬೇಯಿಸಬೇಕು. 
  • ಈಗ ಪಾನ್ ಕೇಕ್ ತಯಾರಾಗಿದೆ. ಅದನ್ನು ಜೇನು ತುಪ್ಪ ಅಥವಾ ಮಾಲ್ಪೆ ಸಿರಪ್ ಇಂದ ಸರ್ವ್ ಮಾಡಿ.

Bisibelebath Powder | ಬಿಸಿಬೇಳೆ ಬಾತ್ ಪೌಡರ್  Bisibele bath powder is a blend of few dals and aroma spices. This is used in famous dish called bisibelebath , which is a famous south indian dish. Preparation time : 20 minutes         Servings : 6 persons Ingredients Required: Urad dal - 1.5 tsp Channa dal - 1.5 tsp Roasted Bengal gram - 1.5 tsp Redchillies - 4 to 5 Cinnamon stick - 2 inches Kapok buds (Marathi moggu) - 3 to 4 Cloves - 1/4 tsp Methi seeds - 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp Coriander seeds - 1 tsp Oil - 1 tsp Method of Preparation: Take a pan, add oil, once oil is hot add urad dal and channa dal, fry it for 30 seconds.  Add Roasted bengal gram to it and fry it further for 30 seconds.
