Mysore Pak । ಮೈಸೂರ್ ಪಾಕ್ 


Mother's Recipe is always favourite of any kid. This Recipe of mysore pak is my mother's Speciality. Mysore pak is a famous dessert of India. It is basically originated from Karnataka and it is traditional dish. In Karnataka it is originated in Mysore palace kitchen, so it is named as Mysore pak. Most of the people will prepare this dish for functions and special occasions . It is made up of ghee and gram flour. If your a sweet lover definitely you will like this dish. try it in home.

Ingredients Required :

  • Gram Flour - 1 cup
  • Ghee - 1 and 1/2 cup
  • Sugar - 1 and 1/2 cup
  • Water - 1 glass

Method of Preparation :

  • Initially Take a pan fry Besan/ Gram Flour until raw smell disappears. Shift the Flour to a bowl.
  • Now take same Pan and pour water to it. Once water is heated ( not boiled ), add sugar and mix well.
  • You should boil it for 5 to 7 minutes. But it should not form 1 thread consistency.
  • Now add gram flour little by little and mix them well so that there are no lumps.
  • From now, Continiously stir it.
  • Add Ghee little by little as you stir it. Around 2 tsp at a time.
  • Once the mixture slightly changes it color, and if it comes togetherthen mysore pak is ready.
  • Meanwhile take one plate, apply ghee to it and keep ready.
  • Once Mysore pak is ready shift it to plate , once it reaches room temperature then cut it to the desired shape of your choice.
  • Now Mysore pak is ready to serve. 

ಬೇಕಾಗುವ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿಗಳು :

  • ಕಡ್ಲೆಹುಡಿ - ೧ ಕಪ್ 
  • ತುಪ್ಪ - ೧ ವರೆ ಕಪ್ 
  • ಸಕ್ಕರೆ - ೧ ವರೆ ಕಪ್ 
  • ನೀರು - ೧ ಗ್ಲಾಸ್ 

ಮಾಡುವ ವಿಧಾನ :

  • ಮೊದಲಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಬಾಣಲೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಡಲೆಹಿಟ್ಟು ಹಾಕಿ ಹುರಿಯಬೇಕು. ಹುರಿದ ನಂತರ ಅದನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳಿ. 
  • ನಂತರ  ಬಾಣಲೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀರು ಹಾಕಬೇಕು. ನೀರು ಬಿಸಿ ಆದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಕ್ಕರೆ ಹಾಕಿ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಿಕ್ಸ್ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. 
  • ಅದು ಸಕ್ಕರೆ ಕರಗಿ ೫ ರಿಂದ ೭ ನಿಮಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಕುಡಿಯಬೇಕು. 
  • ಈ ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪವೇ ಕಡ್ಲೆಹುಡಿ ಹಾಕಿ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಿಕ್ಸ್ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. 
  • ಮಿಕ್ಸ್ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಕಡ್ಲೆಹುಡಿ ಗಂಟು ಕಟ್ಟದಂತೆ ಮಿಕ್ಸ್ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. 
  • ನಂತರ ಪ್ರತಿ ೨ ರಿಂದ ೩ ನಿಮಷಗಳಿಗೊಮ್ಮೆ ೨ ಟೀ ಚಮಚ ತುಪ್ಪ ಹಾಕಿ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಿಕ್ಸ್ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. 
  • ಕೈಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆಯುವ ಹಾಗಿಲ್ಲ , ತೆಗೆದರೆ ತಳ ಹಿಡಿಯುತ್ತದೆ. 
  • ೨೦ ರಿಂದ ೨೫ ನಿಮಷಗಳ ನಂತರ ಎಲ್ಲ ಮಿಶ್ರಣ ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ ಆಗ ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥ ಮೈಸೂರ್ ಪಾಕ್ ತಯಾರಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು. 
  • ಬದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ತಟ್ಟೆಗೆ ತುಪ್ಪ ಸವರಿ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳಿ. 
  • ಮೈಸೂರ್ ಪಾಕ್ ತಯಾರಾದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಈ ತಟ್ಟೆಗೆ ಹಾಕಿ ಬೇಕಾದ ಆಕಾರದ್ಲಲಿ ತುಂಡು ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಮೈಸೂರ್ ಪಾಕ್ ಸವಿಯಲು ತಯಾರಾಗಿದೆ.

Kokum Rasam

Kokum Rasam Ingredients Required Kokum - 2 to 3 Jaggery - 2 tbsp Salt - as per the taste Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp whole red chillies - 3 to 4 oil - 1 tsp Water - 2 cups Curry Leaves - 4 to 5 Leaves Method of Preparation Soak kokum for 30 minutes as pre preparation. Take a pan, add oil and once oil is heated add mustard seeds and garlic. Wait until garlic changes its color to light brown and mustard splutters. Now add redchillies and curry leaves fry for 30 seconds. Now add kokum soaked water, add jaggery, salt and water then get them to boil. Once its boiled allow them to boil further till 7 to 8 min. Now Kokum rasam is ready. Note : Kokum rasam cane be served with hot rice or can also be drunk as a health drink.
