Ribbon Pakoda is a snack item which can be served with tea or coffee. Blend of Roasted Bengal gram flour, Gram flour and rice flour makes it more tastier with combination of few spices. Its very easy to prepare, yet it is delicious. Time consumed to prepared this is very less. This recipe is also called as tengolu in tulunadu region, but only gram flour and rice flour is used there. Ingredients Required

  • Roasted Bengal Gram - 1/2 Cup
  • Gram Flour - 1 Cup
  • Rice flour - 1/2 Cup
  • Salt - As per the taste
  • Cumin seeds - 1 Tsp
  • Red chilli Powder - 1 Tsp
  • Sugar powder - 1/2 Tsp
  • Water - As per the requirement ( approx 1/2 Cup)
  • Oil - 1/4 Cup + For Deep frying


ಬೇಕಾಗುವಂತ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿಗಳು 

  • ಹುರಿಗಡಲೆ / ಪುಟಾಣಿ ಕಾಳು - ೧/೨ ಕಪ್ 
  • ಅಕ್ಕಿ ಹಿಟ್ಟು -  ೧/೨ ಕಪ್ 
  • ಕಡ್ಲೆ ಹಿಟ್ಟು -  ೧ ಕಪ್ 
  • ಉಪ್ಪು - ರುಚಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕಷ್ಟು 
  • ಸಕ್ಕರೆ ಪುಡಿ - ೧/೨ ಟೀ ಚಮಚ 
  • ಎಣ್ಣೆ - ೧/೪ ಕಪ್ + ಕರಿಯಲು 
  • ಖಾರದ ಪುಡಿ - ೧ ಟೀ ಚಮಚ 
  • ನೀರು - ೧/೨ ಕಪ್ 
  • ಜೀರಿಗೆ  - ೧ ಟೀ ಚಮಚ
