Thove

Moong dal tadka | Thove 

ಹೆಸರುಬೇಳೆ ಸಾರು । ತೋವೆ  



Ingredients Required :

  • moong dal  - 1 Cup
  • Green chillis  - 2 to 3
  • Ginger - 1 inch
  • Red chillis - 2
  • Coriander leaves  - 2 table spoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 table spoon
  • Salt - as per the taste
  • oil - 3 table spoon
  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 table spoon
  • Hing - 4 pinch

Method of Preparation :

  • Add moong dal, oil, turmeric powder, salt and water to a cooker 
  • cook for 2 whistle, if dal is not pre soaked cook for 4 whistle
  • once dal is cooked shift it to another bowl and add green chillis, grated ginger, hing and coriander leaves 
  • Mix them well , check the consistency and based on it add more water and salt if required.
  • keep it for boil.
  • Now take another pan add oil, once it is heated add mustard seeds, red chillis and curry leaves fry them for 15 seconds.
  • Now add hing to it and add this to the dal mixture.
  • let the dal mixer boil for 5 min, now moong dal tadka is ready.

Note: Thove is tasty to serve with rice.


ಬೇಕಾಗುವ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿಗಳು :

  • ಹೆಸರು ಬೇಳೆ   - ೧ ಕಪ್ 
  • ಹಸಿಮೆಣಸು   - ೨ ರಿಂದ  ೩
  • ಶುಂಠಿ  - ೧ ಇಂಚು 
  • ಕೆಂಪು ಮೆಣಸು  - ೨
  • ಕೊತ್ತಂಬರಿ ಸೊಪ್ಪು - ೨ ಚಮಚ 
  • ಅರಶಿನ ಪುಡಿ  - ೧/೪ ಚಮಚ 
  • ಉಪ್ಪು - ರುಚಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕಷ್ಟು 
  • ಎಣ್ಣೆ  - ೩ ಚಮಚ 
  • ಸಾಸಿವೆ  - ೧/೨ ಚಮಚ 
  • ಇಂಗು - ೪ ಪಿಂಚ್ 

ಮಾಡುವ ವಿಧಾನ :

  • ಮೊದಲಿಗೆ  ಒಂದು ಕುಕ್ಕರ್ಗೆ ನೀರಲ್ಲಿ ನೆನಸಿದ ಹೆಸರುಬೇಳೆ, ಅರಶಿನ, ಉಪ್ಪು, ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ  ಎಣ್ಣೆ  ಹಾಕಿ ೨ ವಿಶಿಲ್ ಕೊಡಬೇಕು 
  • ಬೆಂದ ಮಿಶ್ರಣವನ್ನು  ಒಂದು ಪಾತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ವರ್ಗಾಯಿಸಿ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಹಸಿಮೆಣಸು, ಶುಂಠಿ, ಇಂಗು   ಕೊತ್ತಂಬರಿ ಸೊಪ್ಪು, ನೀರು ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ  ಉಪ್ಪು ಹಾಕಿ ಕುಡಿಯಲು ಇಡಬೇಕು 
  • ಈಗ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಬಾಣಲೆ ಎಣ್ಣೆಹಾಕಿ ಅದು ಕಾದ ನಂತರ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಸಿವೆ, ಕೆಂಪುಮೆಣಸು, ಕರಿಬೇವು ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಇಂಗು ಹಾಕಿ ಹುರಿಯಬೇಕು. 
  • ತಯಾರು ಮಾಡಿದ ಒಗ್ಗರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಕುದಿಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಮಿಶ್ರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಕಬೇಕು. 
  • ಈಗ ಆ ಮಿಶ್ರಣವನ್ನು ೫ ನಿಮಿಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಕುದಿಸಿದರೆ ತೋವೆ ಅಥವಾ ಹೆಸರುಬೇಳೆ ಸಾರು ಸಿದ್ದ . 
Note : ಹೆಸರುಬೇಳೆ ಸಾರನ್ನು ಅನ್ನದ ಜೊತೆ ಸವಿಯಲು ರುಚಿಯಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ .

This recipe is very great for lord Ganesha.   Ingredients Required : Jaggery - 3/4 cup Water - 3 tbsp Ghee - 1 tbsp Grated Coconut - 1/2 cup Yelachi - 1/4 tsp Avalakki / Poha (Thin) - 3 cup Method of Preperation : Initially take a tava, add jaggery to it and also add water.
